Mansory Transforms Mercedes AMG S 63 E Performance in Black

Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance

After the flashy Lamborghini Urus, Mansory is back again. This time, it’s showing off a new project: the Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance.

You might think this car looks familiar, and you’d be right. We covered it last month. But now, a small change makes a big difference — and we like it a lot more.

Mansory Drops the Red for a Sleeker Look

In the last version, the car had a lot of red paint on the grille, hood, and other parts. Now, all that red is gone. Instead, the whole car is black, even the Mansory logo that replaces the Mercedes star on the front.

The body kit — like the front and rear bumpers, side skirts, vented hood, chin spoiler, rear diffuser, mirror caps, and fender trim — is the same as before.

The big disc-like wheels are also the same. They still look like they belong more on a Rolls-Royce than an AMG, but that's Mansory's style.

Flashy Interior: Hit or Miss?

Now, about the interior. We can only see parts of it through the windows, but it's very flashy. Mansory reupholstered the inside with light blue leather that covers almost every touchable surface. Their logo is all over it, too.

Honestly, we think it's a little too much, but some people might love it.

Is the Engine Modified?

Mansory didn't say anything about tuning the engine. The powertrain is still stock since their social media post didn't mention it.

The Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance comes with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. It also has an electric motor, giving it a crazy combined power of 791 horsepower (802 ps/590 kW) and 1,055 pound-foot (1,430 Nm) of torque.

Thanks to all that power, it's seriously fast. It can blast from 0 to 60 mph (0-97 kph) in just 3.2 seconds.

If you pick the AMG Driver's Pack, the top speed goes up to 180 mph (290 kph). Without it, it’s limited to 155 mph (250 kph).

The car also features the 4Matic+ all-wheel drive, a nine-speed automatic transmission, upgraded brakes, and smart steering.

Who Owns This Mansory S 63?

Mansory didn’t say if a customer ordered this special build or if they made it to sell. We think they’re trying to sell it. And if that’s true, it's probably very expensive.

The regular Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance starts at €208,749.80 ($225,955) in Germany — and with Mansory's upgrades, the price would easily jump much higher.
