Between you and me, Mansory always has something to say about high-end cars. They love upgrading luxury machines, even when some of their designs seem over the top. Still, many rich customers support Mansory no matter what.
Luckily for Mansory, the Maserati MC20 Cielo you see here isn't crazy, but it is bold. The changes may not be obvious to everyone, but a lot is going on inside and outside this car.
Bold Changes to the Maserati MC20's Exterior
As usual, Mansory kept the stock front bumper but added many new parts. You can spot side flicks, details around the air vents, a tweaked grille, and a bigger apron. The front hood is brand new, and the headlights have trim around them.
There are also new custom parts along the sides. The MC20 Cielo features side skirt attachments, rear vent covers, and extra trim on the rear quarter panels. The rear is flashy, thanks to a huge wing, a new diffuser with an integrated brake light, and additional side pieces.
Mansory also replaced all the Maserati badges with their logos at the front, rear, and sides. Finally, they added their FV.5 wheels, which fit the MC20 Cielo well.
Luxury Upgrades Inside the MC20 Cielo
Mansory's style shows up inside the car on the headrests, seatbelts, steering wheel, door sills, and floor mats. The interior has a bi-tone theme with black suede and yellow accents. There's even a little Italian flag design on the paddle shifters. That's where the makeover stops for the inside.
More Power Under the Hood
The stock Maserati MC20 has a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine that makes 621 hp (630 ps/463 kW) and 538 lb-ft (730 Nm) of torque. That's already powerful. But Mansory made it even stronger. The upgraded Nettuno engine now produces 710 hp (720 ps/530 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque.
The extra power allows Mansory's MC20 Cielo to hit 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in just 2.7 seconds. That’s about three-tenths of a second quicker than the stock version. The top speed is also up to 205 mph (330 kph), a boost of 6 mph (10 kph).
In case you are wondering, Mansory says this tuned MC20 Cielo delivers 19.4 mpg (12.1 l/100 km) and emits 288 g/km of CO2.
A Bold Look for a Bold Car
This isn’t the first time Mansory has customized the Maserati MC20. They have worked on several versions before. But this might be their boldest design yet, thanks to the eye-catching colors.
So, what do you think about Mansory’s latest take on the MC20 Cielo?
