Brabus has revealed a new high-performance pickup: the Brabus 800 Adventure XLP Superwhite.
This custom pickup started as a Mercedes-AMG G63. To turn it into the Brabus 800 Adventure XLP Superwhite, Brabus engineers used modern CAD technology. They created a new back wall for the cab, including a heated rear window.
Special Brabus Pickup Bed and Longer Wheelbase
To add the Brabus cargo bed, engineers built a strong, custom frame for off-road use. It moved the suspension and increased the wheelbase by 50 centimeters. Because of this, they needed a longer driveshaft, making the truck 5.31 meters long.
Tough Cargo Bed with Marine-Grade Features
- The bed floor and side-opening tailgate are made from strong sheet steel.
- Brabus's CSP division makes the carbon side panels.
- The bed liners are made from Flexi Teak, a material also used on Brabus Marine boats.
- The double bed bars behind the cab have a matte black finish.
- The whole truck is painted white with gray Brabus logos to match.
New Suspension, Portal Axles, and Height Adjustment
Brabus built a new suspension system for off-road driving. It includes:
- New portal axles, giving the pickup 49 cm of ground clearance
- Strong aluminum parts
- Brabus Ride Control coilover suspension with height adjustment
- The truck has Dynamic Select, so the driver can choose different suspension modes using titanium-coated struts.
Big Wheels and All-Terrain Tires
Brabus added strong Monoblock HD alloy wheels made for the new axles. The wheels:
- Size: 9.5J x 22
- Color: Black
- Tires: Pirelli Scorpion ATR
- Tire size: 325/55 R22
Carbon Fiber Exterior with LED Lights
The outside has many carbon fiber parts, including:
- Wheel arch extensions
- Brabus hood cowl with two power bulges
- Brabus wind deflectors with four LED work lights
- Carbon fiber trim on:
- Radiator grille surround
- Air intakes with daytime running lights
- Mirror covers
- Skid plates
- Side rub strips
All parts have a high-gloss finish for a premium look.
800 HP Twin-Turbo V8 Engine
The Brabus 800 Adventure XLP Superwhite is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with the Brabus PowerXtra B40S-800 upgrade. It makes:
- 800 horsepower at 6,600 rpm
- 1,000 Nm of torque at 3,600 rpm
It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The off-road tires limit the top speed to 210 km/h.
Luxurious White Leather Interior
The inside of the truck is full of White Heat leather:
- Seats
- Door panels
- Center console
- Rear cab wall
- Steering wheel grips
- Lower dashboard
Other luxury touches include:
- Double Cube quilting and perforation on seat centers and trim panels
- '77' signs embossed in honor of Brabus's founding in 1977
- Black leather on the top of the dashboard
- Dark Alcantara on roof pillars and the headliner
