The Lamborghini Urus lineup has two main models: the Urus S and the Urus Performante. These were added during a mid-cycle update. Before this update, Lamborghini only had one Urus model.
Lamborghini has also made special editions; the rarest is the Lamborghini Urus Essenza SCV12. This name comes from the Aventador-based Essenza SCV12, a supercar made only for the track. The Urus Essenza SCV12 was revealed in 2022 and created through Lamborghini's Ad Personam program. Only 40 units were made, and you could only get one if you already owned an Essenza SCV12 supercar.
Each car had a custom paint job to match its owner's Essenza SCV12. It also came with 23-inch alloy wheels. There were no engine upgrades. The SUV still had the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, making 657 horsepower (666 PS/490 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. That means it can go from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 kph) in 3.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 190 mph (306 kph).
Rare Urus Gets a Bold Tuning Makeover
Because it's so rare, you wouldn't expect the Urus Essenza SCV12 to get tuned. But one black example did — and the result is stunning. RDB LA, a well-known tuning shop, did the work. You'll notice the differences even if you've never seen a regular Urus.
The front end has new add-ons that follow the car's original shape but look more aggressive. The side view also got some upgrades. At the back, a new diffuser with bigger fins was added to the original bumper. The ducktail spoiler stayed, but now there's also a larger wing above the rear window. The tailpipes look like they are unchanged.
Full Black "Murdered-Out" Style
The whole car is covered in black paint, giving it a murdered-out look. This includes the body panels, mirror caps, and window trim. The windows are tinted, and fender flares make the SUV look wider and tougher. The wheels were added after the car was built. They feature a Y-spoke design, deep lips, a centre-lock system, and a black finish to match the rest of the SUV.
A Cool, Rare, and Tuned Lamborghini SUV
Some people might not love the Lamborghini Urus (okay, maybe just me), but it's hard to ignore how cool this version looks. The widebody kit and all-black finish really stand out. The Essenza SCV12 version is already rare, and this tuned one makes it even more special. It's probably not for sale since RDB LA said nothing about that. So, if you want one, you'll need to get lucky and find it on the used market.
