It has been six years since Rolls-Royce launched the Cullinan. Over time, many have started to like its looks more. Still, it's not exactly what you'd call a beauty. But there's no denying that it's one of the best luxury SUVs you can buy today.
The Cullinan has a unique design that makes it easy to recognize. It resembles the Ghost and the Phantom, which share the same platform. Being a true Rolls-Royce, the Cullinan has all the luxury features you expect from the famous brand.
Big Power Under the Hood
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan uses a powerful V12 engine. It's the brand's well-known 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged motor. The Cullinan makes 562 horsepower (570 PS / 419 kW) and 627 pound-feet of torque (850 Nm).
Even though the Cullinan weighs nearly 6,000 pounds (around 2.7 tons), it's still very fast. It can go from 0 to 62 mph (0–100 km/h) in less than five seconds. Its top speed is limited to 155 mph (250 km/h).
Making the Cullinan Stand Out
Because the Cullinan is so popular among the rich and famous, some owners want theirs to look even more special. Many tuning companies offer upgrades for the Cullinan. However, not all tuners have the best designs.
Some names, like Mansory, are often avoided. But Novitec is known for creating stylish and tasteful upgrades for the Cullinan.
Meet the Novitec Spofec Overdose S
The latest creation from Novitec's Spofec division is the Overdose S. Pictures, which were recently shared on social media. The car is dark and bold, finished in black paint with shiny chrome accents. It's not just another all-black "murdered-out" SUV — and we're happy about that.
Bold Widebody Styling
The Novitec Spofec Overdose S has widebody styling that makes it stand out. It features:
- Muscular fender flares
- A new rear diffuser
- A subtle spoiler on the tailgate
- Extended side skirts
At the front, there's a redesigned bumper with extra details. The disc-style wheels look amazing too, especially with the Rolls-Royce center caps, making the SUV even more eye-catching.
Possible Power Upgrades
Novitec has not shared details about mechanical upgrades for this specific Overdose S. However, based on past builds, Novitec-tuned Cullinans usually make around 675 brake horsepower (685 PS / 405 kW). This would make it even quicker, sprinting to 62 mph (100 km/h) in under five seconds.
As for the cost of these upgrades, Novitec has not revealed the prices. Anyone interested will need to contact the company directly to get a quote.
