Dubai's police force just added a bold new vehicle to its already famous fleet: the Mansory P720, a tuned version of the Mercedes-AMG G 63. This luxury SUV made its debut during a delivery event at the Dubai World Trade Center as part of the World Police Summit. Top police officials and Mansory’s founder attended the event.
A Flashy New Look from Mansory
As expected from Mansory, the P720 looks bold and aggressive. It has a full body kit, new custom wheels, a big power upgrade, and likely some fancy interior upgrades too. While we can't see the inside in the photos shared by Mansory, the exterior is more than enough to catch attention.
Exterior Changes That Stand Out
This upgraded G 63 has wide fender flares, making it much bigger than the regular model. On the roof, a special piece with extra lights is mounted above the front windshield. There’s also a rear spoiler and an aftermarket hood, which means the hood was custom-made and not from the original Mercedes model.
The front and rear bumpers have new add-ons, a new grille design, and even more extra lights.
Dubai Police Livery and Bold Colors
The SUV is painted in white w
ith the famous green Dubai Police graphics. Most add-on parts have a forged carbon fiber finish, giving them a high-end look. The Y-spoke wheels are black with red highlights, and the brake calipers are painted red too. On top of that, the vehicle has emergency lights, a siren, and likely all the usual police gear inside, although the photos don't show the cabin.
What’s Under the Hood?
Mansory named this model the P720, which stands for its horsepower. This G 63 makes 720 metric horsepower (710 brake or 530 kW). That’s a big jump from the regular version, which has 577 horsepower (585 ps/430 kW) from a 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine. It also produces 627 lb-ft of torque (850 Nm) and can go from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 4.5 seconds.
Even More Powerful Versions Exist
While the P720 is powerful, it's not Mansory's strongest version. There’s also a P850 version that makes 838 horsepower (850 ps/625 kW). That version cuts the 0–62 mph time to just 3.5 seconds, a full second faster than the regular G 63. It also has a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h)—19 mph (30 km/h) more than stock.
A Bold Addition to Dubai’s Fleet
Even though it's flashy, the Mansory P720 is a strong and stylish addition to the Dubai Police fleet. It will likely attract lots of attention from tourists and locals, especially when parked next to exotic patrol cars like Lamborghini and Bugattis already in service.
