Mansory’s Purosangue Pugnator Explained

Mansory Ferrari Purosangue Pugnato

Mansory is known for its bold and controversial car designs. This time, they've drawn massive criticism after showing off their latest project, a modified Ferrari Purosangue they call the Pugnator.

What Is the Mansory Pugnator?

The Pugnator is a Ferrari Purosangue turned into something more aggressive—almost like a battle machine. Normally, the stock Purosangue competes with other luxury performance SUVs like the Lamborghini Urus and the Aston Martin DBX707. But Mansory's Pugnator doesn't really fit into any category. It's in a league of its own.

Custom Paint and Carbon Fiber Hood

To start, Mansory gave the Pugnator a unique Vermillion Red paint job. They also added a strange-looking hood made entirely from forged carbon fiber, giving it a rough, race-inspired look.

Bigger Wheels and Aggressive Body Upgrades

The modified Purosangue sits on 22-inch wheels at the front and 23-inch at the back. Mansory also added:

  • A ducktail spoiler
  • A large rear wing
  • A bold air diffuser
  • Fender flares

These upgrades make the car look more like a track car than a family vehicle.

A More Powerful V12 Engine

Mansory didn't stop at the outside. They went under the hood, too. The original 6.5-liter V12 engine got a performance upgrade. It now produces:

  • 744 horsepower (750 metric hp), up from 715 hp
  • 538 lb-ft of torque (730 Nm), up from 528 lb-ft (716 Nm)

That's a noticeable increase, but it didn't win fans over.

Ferrari Fans Didn't Hold Back

After the Pugnator was revealed, many Ferrari fans expressed anger online. Some called the design ugly, and others thought it disrespected Ferrari's legacy.

Here are a few strong reactions from Instagram:

  • "Make this 1/1. We don't need six more."
  • "This is the worst Ferrari mod ever."
  • "You should call it the Repugnator."
  • "Visual overload. The car is now even uglier. But I like the color combo."

Despite the criticism, some fans loved the Pugnator and praised Mansory's unique style. As always, car design is a matter of personal taste.

Mansory plans to build only seven units of the Pugnator. There's no official pricing available yet.

Mansory Fixed Marcus Rashford's Crashed Rolls-Royce

If the Pugnator seems too over-the-top, Mansory also worked on a more subtle project: Marcus Rashford's Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge.

A Crash and a Costly Repair

The car was involved in a crash about a year ago and was later sold at auction. YouTuber Mat Armstrong bought it and began restoring it. It took him over six months and a significant investment to bring it back to life. He even bought:

  • A donor car for spare parts
  • Original Mansory components

Final Touches by Mansory in Germany

Even after all that work, Mansory asked Mat to bring the car to Germany for final repairs. He drove the car from Spain to Mansory HQ, where the experts completed the job and added custom Mansory wheels.
