Aston Martin launched its first-ever luxury SUV, the DBX. It's also the first model from the brand that seats five people. Then came Mansory, a company known for customizing premium cars. They gave the DBX a complete, tailor-made upgrade.
Upgraded Aerodynamics and Wide-Body Design
Mansory worked on the entire body design and aerodynamics of the DBX. The new wide-body kit doesn't just make the SUV look sportier; it also helps it handle corners better and creates more downforce, which keeps the car more stable at high speeds.
Carbon-Fiber Front and Side Changes
At the front, the DBX now has a new front apron with an integrated carbon lip. The hood (bonnet) is also made of visible carbon fiber and includes extra cooling air vents.
Mansory added special side extensions on the sides, making the DBX look lower, longer, and more aggressive.
Rear Spoilers and Carbon Fiber Parts
The back of the DBX also received upgrades. It now features a carbon tailgate spoiler and a carbon roof spoiler, which help increase rear downforce at high speeds.
More carbon fiber parts can be found throughout the SUV. These include:
- Trim strips
- Mirror housings
- Air intake covers
Custom Wheels: DX.5 Design
Mansory created a special wheel design called 'DX.5' for this DBX. The sizes are:
- Front wheels: 10×24 inches
- Rear wheels: 12.5×24 inches
These are paired with high-performance tires:
- Front tires: 295/30 R24
- Rear tires: 335/25 R24
The wheels can be finished in black or bright Lime Green to match the car's bold style.
Massive Engine Upgrade with 800hp
The DBX uses a V8 twin-turbo engine, but Mansory made significant changes to boost performance. The upgrades include:
- A new engine management system
- Bigger turbochargers
- High-flow sport air filters
- A high-performance exhaust system (available in two versions)
Thanks to these changes, the new power output is:
- 800 horsepower (hp)
- 1,000 Nm of torque
It can now go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of 325 km/h.
Matching Interior and Exterior Style
The interior and exterior feature a stylish black and Lime Green theme, giving the whole car a bold and unique appearance.
