Lamborghini updated the Urus lineup by launching the track-focused Performante version. This powerful SUV has entered Novitec's garage for some exciting upgrades, including a new body kit and a big power boost.
More Power for the Lamborghini Urus Performante
Novitec gave the Urus Performante a big upgrade under the hood. They added the N-Tronic control module and a new stainless steel performance exhaust system. Buyers can also choose butterfly valves for better sound control.
Thanks to these changes, the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine now makes 771 horsepower (782 ps/575 kW) and 761 lb-ft (1,032 Nm) of torque.
For comparison, the stock Urus Performante makes 657 horsepower (666 ps/490 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque.
Regarding performance, the upgraded Urus Performante sprints from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) in just 3.1 seconds, two-tenths faster than the stock model. The top speed also rises from 190 mph (306 kph) to 193 mph (311 kph).
Suspension and Wheels Get a Major Upgrade
Novitec also improved how the Urus Performante drives and looks.
They added sports springs that lower the SUV's ground clearance by one inch (25 mm). This upgrade is also available for the Urus S version with air suspension.
The modified Urus Performante rides on new custom wheels, 10.5x23 inches in the front and 12x23 inches in the back.
Developed with Vossen, these wheels are wrapped in 285/35 front tires and 325/30 rear tires. They also feature centerlock-style hubcaps for a racier appearance.
New Wide Body Kit by Novitec
The changes don't stop there. Novitec gave the Urus Performante a bold new body kit.
The body kit includes:
- Fender flares make it 3.9 inches (10 cm) wider in front and 4.7 inches (12 cm) wider at the rear.
- Front bumper add-ons and a new apron.
- New side skirts for a sleeker profile.
- Aggressive rear diffuser design.
- New hood to replace the original.
- New roof spoiler to complete the sporty makeover.
Custom Interior Options for the Lamborghini Urus
Novitec can also customize the interior of any Lamborghini Urus, including the S and Performante models.
Customers can choose:
- Custom upholstery in many colors to match their personal style.
- New interior trim options.
- Contrast stitching and other fine details.
- Novitec logos placed on different parts of the cabin.
However, the Urus Performante shown in these images has no interior upgrades.
