A Lamborghini Aventador SVJ just got a huge power upgrade—thanks to the team at Underground Racing. This upgrade gives the car a twin-turbo setup, turning the already powerful 6.5L V12 engine into a true beast.
The car's owner, Dustin, is no stranger to fast Lamborghinis. He already owns a 3,000HP Huracan STO AWD, a world-record car, and he's working on another 1,500HP Huracan STO.
Dustin Wanted More Power—Fast
After driving the SVJ for just 200 miles, Dustin decided the stock power wasn't enough. He wanted something more extreme. So he turned to Underground Racing.
The team went all in and rebuilt the entire engine, adding billet connecting rods and custom-forged pistons. They also installed a full billet gearbox, covering gears from 1st through 7th, along with:
- Billet drop gears
- Billet input and output shafts
- Billet front and rear helix differentials
Twin-Turbos, Titanium Exhaust, and More Billet Parts
The intake system is custom-made from billet parts, including the lower billet runners. Precision Turbo supplied the twin turbochargers. A custom titanium exhaust takes care of the engine's powerful new sound.
The clutch setup is also built for big power. It includes a custom clutch with a billet flywheel. Right now, it can handle up to 1,600HP, but once a race clutch is added, the car will hit 2,000HP at the wheels.
Looks Stock, But Packs a Secret
Despite all these changes under the hood, the interior is still stock. That means the car looks like a regular SVJ but has a huge secret hiding inside.
