Meet the Brabus 800 Superblack Off-Road Beast

02 May, 2025 1
Brabus 800 Adventure XLP Superblack

The Brabus 800 Adventure XLP Superblack is a bold new off-road supercar. This special edition is fully blacked out—inside and out—with a solid black finish on both the body and the interior.

It also includes exposed carbon parts, '800' logos on the outside, carbon grille stripes with contrasting colors, and a Brabus badge on the back with a white background.

Built for Extreme Off-Road Adventures

This Brabus model was made for off-road performance. It has high ground clearance, excellent axle movement, and a longer wheelbase. Brabus extended the wheelbase by 50 cm by moving the rear suspension mounts, which improves how the pickup handles rough terrain.

Engine and Performance

The XLP Superblack is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, which produces 800 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque. It can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. Because of the all-terrain tires, the top speed is electronically limited to 210 km/h.

Pricing

The Brabus 800 Adventure XLP Superblack in Germany starts at €725,900, including VAT. Without VAT, the price is €610,000. In the United States, the price is about $690,000.

Suspension and Frame

The front suspension is independent, while the rear keeps the solid axle like the base G-Class. Brabus made a new subframe and used control arms milled from solid metal blocks. They also redesigned the parts used in the portal axle setup using strong aluminum and added a reinforced axle housing.

The vehicle includes Brabus Ride Control coilover suspension, which is titanium-plated and height-adjustable. It works with the Dynamic Select system inside the cabin so the driver can choose the suspension setting. It helps balance the added ground clearance from the portal axles.

Wheels and Tires

The XLP Superblack rides on Brabus Monoblock HD alloy wheels, which are designed for strength. These wheels have an eight-bolt pattern and measure 9.5Jx22 in size. They are paired with Pirelli Scorpion ATR all-terrain tires sized 325/55 R22, made for both strength and grip on rough roads.

Pickup Bed and Rear Features

Brabus built the new cab rear wall from sheet steel and added a heated rear window. The cargo bed is firm, with a side-opening tailgate. The sides of the bed are made of carbon fiber. The bed floor is lined with black Flexiteek, a material used in Brabus Marine boats for extra durability.

Exterior Upgrades

The hood features two power bulges and wind deflectors. It also includes four LED lights made from high-tech CSP materials. The fender flares were taken from the Brabus Widestar widebody kit and were painted black. These flares also have exposed carbon wheel arches that add 11.6 cm to the vehicle's width, giving it a wider, more aggressive look.

Powerful Engine from AMG G 63

The heart of the XLP Superblack is the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 found in the Mercedes-AMG G 63. It puts out 800 horsepower at 6600 rpm and delivers 1000 Nm of torque at just 3600 rpm. This power helps the vehicle accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. Even though it's super fast, the top speed is limited to 210 km/h for tire safety.

All-Black Luxury Interior

The inside of the Brabus 800 Adventure XLP Superblack is covered in the finest black leather with sporty carbon accents. The headliner is made from black Alcantara. The seats have seashell diamond stitching and are perforated for extra comfort. The steering wheel, dashboard, doors, and center console all feature carbon elements.

Brabus also added its unique "Heritage" design throughout the interior. These details include embossed '77' logos that celebrate the year the company was founded.

Final Thoughts

The Brabus 800 Adventure XLP Superblack offers a unique combination of extreme off-road ability, luxury, and powerful performance. Prices in Germany start at €725,900, including VAT.
